Distressed, Antiqued Wide Plank Flooring

All reclaimed pine is not all Heart Pine. Heart Pine by definition is the center of the log of large long leaf pine trees. Our Hand Distressed is real Heart Pine. Dents, kinks, etc. are all done by hand and finished to a rich antique color simply to be viewed as a piece of art. We have Heart Pine available in 4 inch, and 5 inch widths. We also have 7 inch available on Special Order.

Same is true for our Distressed Oak Flooring. Solid 3/4 inch flooring for long lasting beauty and durability. Hand distressed and manufactured here in Tennessee by Stone River Hardwoods. Distressed Oak is offered in 4 inch and 5 inch.

It usually takes about 3 weeks to produce an order of distressed flooring. This can vary  according to demand. Each and every order is produced especially for the individual customer.

As a product gains popularity, it seems as if out of the woodwork (pun intended) substandard and poor quality look alike products hit the market. Same is true for distressed flooring. True distressed flooring cannot be run through a machine and create a true distressed look, as it will be uniform and repetitive in design. To give flooring that warm authentic distressed appearance it must be created by hand and randomly. The lumber has to be sorted and distressed one piece at a time by hand. That is how we create our distinctive quality hand distressed flooring. We put it through multiple random distressing processes.

We will be glad to send samples of our distressed flooring, but you can't get the full effect unless we send several large pieces. For obvious reasons we need these samples returned when you are finished with them so we can send them to others. We go by the honor system and do not require a deposit before sending our samples.
